Snappy zippers, nickel rings and chrome chains are both decorative and structural. Soft gathers, fan-shaped panels and hidden bellows give the surfaces their rhythm. The pockets have more than one function: be they invisible, concealed, expanded or three dimensional, they give the bowling bags, totes and shoulder bags their casual, practical or city-glam look.

Multi-sensory materials. The leathers chosen by Coccinelle for the next autumn winter are utterly seductive. Their soft and waxy hand makes them as smooth as silk, creating new haute couture solutions: bold plissés, romantic love-knots, matelassé decorations and inside-out drapes. They also have attention-grabbing yet complementary combinations of lizard skin and suede, shiny and matt calfskin or leather and snake print nabuck. The superior quality of the finish cannot fail to impress: the pearly look of the nappa leathers gives a seductive night time allure even to the shoppers and the sheepskin’s creased and worn craquelé look gives it an intriguing, country-rich appeal.

The colours reveal their two-sided soul. The new Coccinelle bags are painted in a palette that loves flirting with opposites. Warm earthy tones - brown to brandy, army to mud green – take turns with the vivid colours of the night sky – Prussian blue, indigo and deep black. Flashes of amaranth red and elegant grey negotiate their way through this rainbow of natural hues. Stolen from the atmosphere of the English countryside.
