During the week of the Salone del Mobile, the story of Moi e Toi, Le vent dans les yeux has enchanted us in a new video-installation, created specifically for the occasion of the Design week and shown in the boutique in Via Manzoni, corner of Via Bigli, and in the new store in Corso Buenos Aires 42 in Milan.

The mood of the videos in the installation perfectly caught the essence of the Coccinelle it-bag Celeste which on this same occasion was presented in the black or white versions of the S/S collection.

Anyone purchasing a Coccinelle item on April 9th received a customized Moi e Toi T-shirt, representing the couple of young lovers sprung from the imagination of director Marco Pozzi and sketched with the clever and amazingly light stroke of illustrator Federico Monti.

Coccinelle presents the new AW 2013/14 collection during Milan Fashion Week. In the Showroom of via Borgonuovo in Milan, Coccinelle presented the new fall winter 2013-2014 collection to the Italian and international press, absorbed by a metropolitan and Parisian allure.

Three new shops in 2012 and four more in 2013: the South Korean holding E-Land is taking Coccinelle to China with monobrand stores in strategic locations inside luxury shopping malls throughout the country.

Coccinelle, a leading Italian company in the bags, shoes and accessories’ segment, is steadily growing in China with seven new shop openings. Two stores have already been opened last September in Nanning and in Chengdu and another opening is planned for December, 28 again in Chengdu. Between January and April 2013, there are great expectations for the new openings of the Shanghai, Jinan and Hangzou stores.

This expansion in the Far East, which has been strongly wanted by E-Land, the South Korean multinational company which controls Coccinelle since 2012, gives new strength to the expansion plan of the brand at an international level which currently boasts 95 monobrand stores.

In the first semester of 2013, Coccinelle will consolidate its presence in China in five strategic cities and in prestigious malls, with a new concept for the stores, which has been created to involve customers in a high quality purchase experience. Classic elegance and the well-known Italian modern design are melted together and inserted in an architectural “Chinese box” structure that makes shopping an emotional experience.

The new Coccinelle boutiques in China are all situated in exclusive and high level locations: malls of great affluence, with 5 star hotels and other luxury Italian brands.

E-Land, the South Korean holding, owns many other brands from all over the world and is active in various sectors including apparel, hotels and catering. Its investments in Italy include brands like Mandarina Duck, Belfe, Lario shoe-manufacturing group and Coccinelle since 2012. Their policy is to make these brands grow and prosper in the Far East by preserving their craftsmanship.

“Go for red: support those supporting others!” This is the slogan chosen by Coccinelle to show its support for Vidas, the no profit association that offers free, non-stop comprehensive healthcare and support for terminally ill people living in Milan and the 104 town councils that make up the Province of Milan.
It is there to help 150 sick people every day.
Coccinelle has come up with an initiative that will run throughout the month of December 2012, involving its three flagship stores and two corners at Coin department store in Milan – the city where Vidas was founded in 1982 – as well as its store in Monza. By simply going out and “shopping for red”, 10 percent of the purchase value of any rigorously “red” items (the colour chosen by Vidas for its logo), selected from Coccinelle’s 2012-13 autumn / winter collection for the occasion, will be donated to Vidas to fund its healthcare activities and help pay for psychological and personal support to patients and their families.

Milan, December 2011 - Coccinelle opens in the most elegant street in the “Pearl ofthe Mediterranean”, a hugely popular destination among international tourists

Coccinelle has officially opened its new, single-brand store in Corso Umberto I, Taormina, the most fashionable street in the city, a favourite shopping destination for the tourists who come here from all over the world.

The new store concept was used in the design of the 54 square metre, single brand shop: sophisticated, elegant and full of light, with every detail designed to display products to their best advantage and give customers a fabulous shopping experience.

The opening of the Taormina boutique takes the total number of single brand Coccinelle stores to 81 all over the world.
